I had the great privilege to work with the folks at Buzzfeed.com on a powerful personal essay by author, Christine Hyung-Oak Lee. Her essay tells about her experience suffering from a stroke at the surprisingly young age of 33. I was really moved by her account and flooded with beautiful visuals. I created one ‘header’ illustration (pun vaguely intended) and two spot illustrations, as well as some smaller line break illustrations for the piece.
Many thanks to wonderful AD, Justine!
One of my illustrations in the current Love/Lust issue of Bitch Magazine. Art Directed by the wonderful Kristin Rogers Brown. This illustration was created using pencil and digital, and was for an article written by Kate Larking about digital book selling suppressing self published erotica.
I am delighted to have an illustration in the current issue of Oh Comely Magazine 21 (A beautiful UK-based publication). The theme was ‘fairy gardens.’ You have to look closely at this one! Digital painting © Perrin 2014.

Lace, a new personal illustration! This was one of those times I just got an image stuck in my head and had to see it through. Sort of a compulsive exercise in how many little leaves I can draw. I was inspired by a photo I saw on tumblr of some detailed & delicate vintage lace wedding gowns.
(I do not own that last photo! It was just my inspiration!)

This is my flower for Tabitha for the project Blooms of Nigeria. 180 women artists and illustrators are creating a flower for each of the 180 names of kidnapped girls that have been released to the public. Nearly 300 girls are still missing. Please follow the tumblr here: http://bloomsofnigeria.tumblr.com
Its been a long time coming, but I am super pleased to share my illustrations for Until Now! It is a magazine about coming of age, a thesis project, and a successfully funded Kickstarter by the talented Alex Citrin!
I illustrated an essay by David Stern about trying to focus and find introspection as a kid during the Jewish high holidays (Not always an easy task!)
There are so many great pieces of writing and illustration in the magazine, and I am tickled to be included!
